Head Coach Brian Loeck enters his 15th year of coaching experience and second year as the DPL Hockey Cooperative Head Coach.  Prior to becoming the third Head Coach in the history of the DeForest Hockey program, Brian coached youth programs.  Loeck  served as a coach in both Beaver Dam and Waupun Youth Hockey organizations for 13 years.  He then was named the Waupun High School Head Varsity Coach and served until relocating his family to DeForest.

This season Loeck looks forward to inspiring the skaters to reach for new heights within themselves.  Team unification, dedication and focus are to be common goals with the team.

Coach Loeck is a Senior Tax Accountant at Baker Tilly  in Madison and lives in DeForest with his wife Missy and their two children, Gabby and Max.

Assistant Coach Tyler Statz is in his seventh year with the DeForest hockey program and third year returning as an assistant coach.  He hopes to apply close to 15 years as a player into coaching success.

Tyler played 10 seasons with the Waunakee Youth Hockey Association.  There he helped lead three teams to the State Tournament, including two second place finishes, as well as two Badger State Games medals.  As a player of DeForest, Tyler lettered all four years and his senior year led the team to a Badger North Conference title as the team captain.  He also earned Second Team All-Conference honors with a team high of 44 points.

Tyler also volunteers his time helping children in the Learn To Skate program run by the Waunakee Youth Association.

Assistant Coach Rory Agnew  joins the DeForest Hockey Program for his first year of coaching experience.  Rory has skated for various hockey programs including the Madison Capitols.  He currently is a student at the UW-Madison and Team DPL welcomes him this season.
